Sasha's (and Valnika's) First Litter

Sunday, April 13, Sasha Isabelle of Valnika gave birth to Valnika's first litter of Russian Blue babies.

A perfect mother, she delivered five kittens (FIVE!) between 8 and 10 in the evening - no sleepless nights for us waiting for babies to arrive :-).

Both Hackel and I were there by Sasha's side through the delivery process - which is the way she wanted it.

This was such a fascinating process to watch first hand. The kittens are all very healthy . Sasha was a great mommie and attentive. You would think she had done all this many times before.
