Sasha is a character.

She is totally devoted to us. She is always on a mission. A mission to get that bug flying around or just being completely mischievous. She will run to the door when she hears my footsteps coming home. But she is not much for be a lap cat, only on her terms. She loves my dresser drawers. When I am putting clean clothes away, do not leave that dresser drawer open for long, she will be inside digging under the clothes.

She demands to be treated with kindness and gentleness…so I just use a baby voice when talking to her. I call her nicknames like, "princess" and "munchkin". She thrives on it. She is aggressive too when it comes to playing with toys. She will be there quicker than Saba, jump higher than Saba, and overall is the Queen of the cattery in more ways than one. She shows no fear even though Saba is twice her size. When visitors come, she will hide from a distance and observe before she approaches. It doesn't take her long to warm up to you, but you had better show your gentleness to get a chance. She loves to play fetch. She will bring her special toy to you and stand on your feet. She enjoys sitting on her favorite fleece rug on the window seal, dreaming of the outside world.

Sasha is a complete joy as a mommy... giving birth to her first litter of 5 babies on April 13, 2003.

Saba has to really compete for the attention while Sasha was pregnant. In fact, he jump would jump on your back and lay down on your shoulders if you didn't pay him enough attention. But he is happy to be an uncle now :-)
