We were attending a cat show in Austin, Texas in 2002 - showing our two kittens, Abby and Zoya.  The famous Japanese Photographer, Tetsu, was there seeking Russian Blue kittens to photograph.  While Tetsu looked at many Russian kittens, we were honored and excited when he chose our kittens to photograph! He came to our home abs Zoya and Abby were very cooperative models at their first photo shoot. It was such fun watching the photographers from Japan taking a million pictures of our special baby girls.

The photos were for a Nippon Pet Products Calendar in Japan.  There was only a slim chance that Abby and Zoya's photos would be chosen for the final calendar... but beauty and personality won out when our Valnika's kittens were chosen for the month of June.

Congratulations to Valnika Bluemist Abby and Valnika Archangel Zoya who became little starlets in 2005!!!  It only gets better.
