Bungee, Our Precious Household Pet

We do have one household pet, Bungee, an 11 year old black and white Manx. There is a story behind him too.

My husband is a crane engineer and 11 years ago he was operating the Bungee Jump in Galveston, Texas.

We had friends that had just had a litter of Manx kittens. On a visit, I was immediately taken by Bungee when he ran over to us like he knew us. I also was planning a birthday party for my husband... so as a surprise I presented him with Bungee.

Of course he had to name him after the thing he was so involved in at the time.

Bungee has always been a very lovable, affectionate and devoted cat. He pretty much watches over Sasha. She took to him immediately and in fact she demands daily baths from him. Saba is loves to play tag with Bungee - chasing him through the house for hours.

So we know that Russians can get along with a different breed of cat.
